The pan's thickness and unique ceramic-titanium surface allow for effective browning, searing, and deglazing. The patented non-stick surface is created by embedding a specially formulated non-stick compound into the ceramic-titanium surface, which is then fired into the pan. This durable surface allows for the use of metal utensils.

Scanpan's Green Tek non-stick surface is PFOA-free throughout the entire manufacturing process. Scanpan IQ Cookware can withstand high heat frying and is oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The cookware features an ergonomic handle design and lid knobs, making it easy to use.
