Scanpan CX+ Nonstick Fry Pan Set with Lids

The Scanpan CX+ cookware series features their most advanced nonstick coating yet in Stratanium+. Scanpan spent over two years researching and testing to create the Stratanium+ nonstick system from the ground up. This revolutionary Stratanium+ nonstick coating features a unique textured surface using haptic technology, not found in the standard Scanpan Stratanium coated pans. Stratanium+ consists of 5-layers in which hard particles and wave-like layers interlock to reinforce the nonstick layer, allowing for exceptional searing ability not typical of nonstick pots and pans while improving the release and durability of the coating.

The CX+ series has been paired with a high performance 5-ply clad-aluminum construction with a brushed stainless steel exterior. The multiple layers of aluminum and stainless steel ensure rapid heat response and even distribution. Stratanium+ nonstick is bonded directly to the pan, so it doesn't blister, peel or scrape away, even when using metal utensils. Scanpan CX+ pans feature a beautiful brushed finish smooth exterior, are induction compatible and are oven safe up to 480 degrees F.

The full sized riveted stainless steel handles are rounded in shape, ergonomically designed and easy to grasp. Dishwasher and metal utensil safe, the Scanpan CX+ cookware is made in Denmark and comes with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.

The Scanpan CX+ fry pan set includes an 8 and a 10.25" skillet and two tempered glass lids with Scanpan's signature stainless steel knobs. The micro-textured nonstick surface is bonded directly to the pan, so it will not warp, blister or peel. Unlike most nonstick pans, Scanpan CX+ is ideal for browning, searing and deglazing.

The 8" fry pan measures 8" top diameter, 6" base diameter, 1.75" deep, 15.5" long overall with handle (2 lbs without lid, 3.2 lbs with lid), while the 10.25" version measures 10.25" top diameter, 7.5" base diameter, 1.5" deep, 18.75" long overall with handle (3.8 lbs without lid, 5.2 lbs with lid). Both are dishwasher and metal utensil safe, and compatible with all cooktops including induction, with an oven safe rating up to 480 degrees F.
